Chef's Restaurant If you had to define the canon of the railway station restaurant, this Central, located just opposite the station in Roanne, is certainly a good example. Opened by the Troisgros family in the 90s, the restaurant combines good taste with a certain form of simplicity that makes no concessions on quality, defending a superbly reproduced tradition. These are versions that set an ideal, with that slight invigorating twist in the recipe, a foie gras leaf salad, agnolotti with porcini mushrooms, sea bass soufflé and mushroom flight, pan-fried fresh frogs, garlic and ginger, tartare de la gare, matured entrecôte de salers, apple chartreuse to share. Menu €47. Excellent service.
