Gourmet Restaurant A great evolution since the move from rue Gutenberg to this vast square. This Ardoise is quite simply the kind of modern, dynamic restaurant you'd expect to find in the city today: a small dining room in the entrance hall, a larger one with an open kitchen behind the windows where Audrey, the chef, officiates with her three partners, including a not at all clumsy pastry chef, and finally the terrace at the back, very practical and welcoming. Then there's the essential: the energy and good vibes spread by Nicolas Rebrond, known as Nico to all his friends, and therefore to everyone. The number of guests at each service shows that the young owner knows how to maintain professional friendships with all those who do good work in the region, suppliers and producers, Yves Brémond and his vegetables, Francesco and his Pasta pasta, Maxime Spedo and his cheeses... He talks about them with his natural tchatche, but also with empathy and passion. The register remains that of a bistro, but where everything is good and well done: falafels, duck parmentier, cod with excellent gnocchi and spinach shoots with parmesan, a gourmet chocolate dessert. And the small cellar is impeccable: all local wines, from winemakers Nico knows well, and vintages he can tell you all about.
