This 2004 cuvée has a beautiful golden color and a rather discreet nose on opening. With aeration, notes of baked apple, poached pear and dried fruit dominate. This is followed by hints of honey and a fine amplitude. On the palate, this cuvée's flavors are close to the aromas, and it retains plenty of freshness and youthfulness. Bottle to decant! A cassolette of snails with hazelnuts and sour cream would be a perfect match.
