Identical to the non-vintage cuvée brut, but with 2 more years in the cellar, this cuvée Réserve has a deep gold color, with amber and silver highlights. The nose is complex, with fruity, floral, honeyed and candied notes. On the palate, the brioche aspect is repeated, with fine bubbles extending the fruity sensation to a finish of dried fruit. A wine of wisdom rather than youth. A duck with peaches should please him.

Bochet-Lemoine

Champagne Bochet-Lemoine was founded in 1992 by the fusion of two estates: Champagne Lemoine Fils, founded in 1945, and Champagne Bochet-Massart created in 1957. Valérie Lemoine and Jacky Bochet currently perpetrate the family tradition by picking their grapes and vinifying their cuvées within the estate. Their vineyard covers 8,5 hectares spreading over Cormoyeux and Faverolles-et-Coëmy, situated between Épernay and Reims. The average age of the vines are approximately 35 years while the eldest are almost 50. The length of the ageing in bottle has been increased by six months before the disgorgement.
