Gault&Millau's review
The family estate has existed since the 19th century. It was Jean, Maud's grandfather, who decided to make his own champagne. Maud Plener, representing the seventh generation, now runs the estate in the village of Bouzy. On this Grand Cru terroir, the family cultivates 5.5 hectares of vines, 70% pinot noir and the rest chardonnay, in 18 parcels. The estate favors long ageing on lees (at least four years for the brut sans année).
