The very ripe nose opens with aromas of nuts (hazelnut, almond), dried fruit (apricot, fig) and toast, almost barbecue. The palate is much fresher, buoyed by creamy bubbles. The texture is delicious, with a hint of pear juice, fresh apricot and quetsche. A lovely complexity that carries through to a more mineral, almost saline finish, very salivating in any case.
