A magnificent cuvée. The nose is discreet, although there are hints of red fruits, spices and toast. On tasting, the attack is frank, with a velvety texture. The mid-palate reveals a basket of raspberries, strawberries and blackcurrants. The finish is salivating, with a taste of longing. Everything is in place, it pinotes. To be forgotten for a few years in the cellar.

Frédéric Berne settled in Lantignié in 2014 at Château des Vergers. The estate covers 13 hectares planted exclusively with Gamay grapes on the famous Beaujolais terroirs of pink granite and blue stone. Certified organic, the winemaker practices agro-ecology to preserve natural resources and better nourish the vines.
