A great classic in a benchmark vintage: this cuvée proves to be perfect. The nose opens up gently, without exuberance, as it turns in the glass: notes of still-fresh grapes, flowers, then hints of warm pastries. Everything is delicate and evolving. On the palate, the wine is remarkably full-bodied, with more structure than power, and a pure, crystalline quality that ensures masterly balance. Already superb today, this bottle can also wait, but without any obligation.
