This 2008 is unquestionably one of the vintage's greats. Tasted at the end of 2016, it continues to blossom while remaining astonishingly young. The first nose, full of toasty, roasted notes, is followed by perfectly precise, clean fresh fruit notes on aeration. The palate is lively on the attack, round, full and powerful on the mid-palate, and stretches into a long, elegant and sapid finish. A great wine, from a great vintage and a great House, to be kept for many years.
