A brilliant color for this pure Chardonnay ratafia. A complex, lively nose, more spicy than fruity, is followed by a palate that is fine, broad, deep and swirling. The finish is almost sapid in the sense of great drinkability. Enjoy this no-sulfur-added ratafia with curried shrimp or, more simply, with blue-veined cheese on rye toast.

Vincent Couche
Vincent Couche cultivates his 15 hectares in the heart of the Côte des Bar. Constantly attentive to nature, he carefully studies the needs of his vines, and since 2008 has been infusing them with energy and well-being through biodynamic treatments. His vines in Buxeuil (12 ha) are mainly pinot noir, while those in Montgueux (3 ha) are exclusively chardonnay. A passionate perfectionist, Vincent works tirelessly on the microbiological development of his soils. Replanting fruit trees and keeping sheep and chickens in the vines are part of the process. The wines are remarkable and well distributed.
