Prestige Hotel In the heart of Sedan's old town, this hotel is first and foremost worth a visit for the extraordinary site on which it has been built - a magnificent 15th-century fortress that is none other than the largest fortified castle in Europe! Artfully restored, the 52 rooms and suites combine contemporary comfort (perfect bedding, vast bathrooms) with a medieval atmosphere, some with stone walls and frescoes recalling the heyday of the Princes of Sedan, the historic owners of the site. Depending on your schedule, you can opt for the bistronomic restaurant Midi au Château or the table La Principauté, where chef Olivot treats guests every evening to revisited local cuisine, served in the historic dining room by candlelight. A rare place, close to the sumptuous Ardennes forest and just a stone's throw from the Belgian border.
