Prestige Hotel Built on the terrace of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, on the site of the former royal residence, overlooking the waters of the Seine, this address is famous for its gastronomy. Indeed, it was here (by chance) that chef Jean-Louis-François Collinet invented pommes soufflées and béarnaise sauce. Less well known, however, is the fact that since the early 19th century, the site has been home to a 42-room hotel offering classic elegance and contemporary comfort (5-star bedding, flat-screen TV, etc.), some with magnificent views over the river. Le Pavillon also boasts a Cinq Mondes wellness area (with a special mention for the excellent massages) and a gourmet restaurant that has been welcoming loyal guests for many years, concocting delicious cuisine using local produce (Ferme Sainte Suzanne, Pilon Viandes...), in a locavore and eco-responsible approach.
