The Salon du Chocolat returns to Paris this autumn! How much does a ticket cost? How can I get a free invitation? Here's all the information you need to know about this 29ᵉ edition.

If you love chocolate, this is the must-attend event of the All Saints' vacation! For five days Paris becomes the cocoa capital of the world. For this 29ᵉ edition, the Salon du Chocolat is counting on an experience around time, in tribute to the product and its know-how. Numerous activities are on offer, as well as at least one new, never-before-seen collaboration. Young and old alike will find plenty to delight their eyes and taste buds over five days, thanks to the many master chocolatiers, pastry chefs and other renowned ice cream makers on hand. When is the Salon du Chocolat de Paris?

Grab your pen and head for the calendar: the Salon du Chocolat runs from Wednesday, October 30 to Sunday, November 3, 2024. The inaugural evening with its exclusive show is scheduled for Tuesday, October 29, starting at 7pm. Salon du Chocolat opening hours are from 10am to 7pm. Tickets are currently priced at 25 euros, giving you access to the VIP lounge experience. The evening is organized in aid of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. Every year, the NGO provides 400 children around the world with heart surgery.

How much does entry to the Salon du Chocolat cost?

If you're interested in the show, there are several ways to get your golden ticket. You can buy your tickets on the online ticketing service, on site at the entrance to the Salon, or reserve them online on the Fnac website. Tickets purchased via the online ticketing service are neither exchangeable nor refundable. To avoid long waits on site, we recommend you buy your tickets online. Ticket prices are as follows

  • Full price: 16.00 euros.
  • Children (3 to 12 years): 8 euros
  • Free for children under 3.
  • Family pack (2 adults, 2 children): 42 euros
  • Students: 13 euros
  • For people with reduced mobility (PMR), the rate is 13 euros.
  • 1-day Business Pass: 16 euros
  • 3-day Professional Pass: 40 euros

How can I get free tickets for the Salon du Chocolat?

Would you like free tickets for the Salon du Chocolat? There are a few tricks you can use to obtain invitations. The first is to keep an eye out for special offers from the Salon's partners. These sometimes offer tickets to be won. Also, keep an eye out for special offers on the radio and on Facebook or Instagram. And don't forget that some websites and supermarkets are offering free invitations to the Salon du Chocolat in exchange for subscribing to their newsletter or making a minimum purchase in store.

What is the Salon du Chocolat program?

Who takes part in the Salon du Chocolat? In all, the Salon du Chocolat boasts more than 280 exhibitors and 40 nationalities represented on the 20,000 m² of Pavilion 5. Every year, more than a hundred thousand visitors are expected!

For this 29ᵉ edition, the Salon du Chocolat de Paris has seen things through! Although they have not yet been made official, every year the greatest chefs are on board to show you their creations. In 2023, for example, Maxence Barbot from the Shangri-La Paris, Philippe Conticini and Jeffrey Cagnes, and Nina Métayer were all on hand.

There will also be a number of competitions, including the Trophée de la Pâtisserie Française and the amateur chocolate charlotte competition. But this time, and for the first time, the show will have a dedicated area celebrating the Grand-Place of our Swiss and Belgian neighbors.

Not to be missed: The Japan area, which will be present once again this year. You'll have the chance to discover the art of Japan's master chocolatiers, and be introduced to Japanese virtuosity. Along the aisles, you'll be able to discover the benchmark work of our Meilleurs Ouvriers de France. Chocolate sculptures, Yule log presentations, Pastry Show workshop and its little brother Pastry Show Junior, free courses for adults, recipe demonstrations by top chefs... When you come, you'll certainly have something to do!

Where is the Salon du Chocolat?

The Salon du Chocolat is located in Hall 5 of the Parc d'Expo at Porte de Versailles. The exact address is: 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris. How to get there:

  • By metro, take line 12 to Porte de Versailles station or line 8 to Balard.
  • Streetcars T2 and T3A also take you directly to Porte de Versailles.
  • By bus, you can choose between lines 80, 39, 42 or 169.
  • By car, you can choose between freeways A1, A3, A14, A15 (access via the western ring road) or A3, A4, A6, A10 (access via the southern ring road).

If you wish to come to the Salon du Chocolat by car, you can park in Parking R or F at the Parc des Expositions. Please note that the number of parking spaces is limited!
