Chef's Restaurant Elegance, noble materials and solidity are the main qualities of this local river boat, the bacôve, which gives its name to this place that has become a must-see in the region for over two years. These qualities are also reflected in the cuisine, which is both regional and daring. Camille Delcroix and his wife Carla Loxemand are the happy captains of this sensory cruise through the Audomarois marshlands. The son of a Valenciennes butcher and pork butcher, Camille settled in his wife's hometown, remaining faithful to his roots, close to his producers and customers, to this prodigal land and to quality seafood products. His joie de vivre can be seen in the dining room, heard in the kitchen and savored through inventive and explosive combinations, such as trout with beet and blackberry tartlet, scallop anemone in bonito broth, or the remarkably well-crafted saint-pierre and celery. Veal sweetbreads, cochonaille and farmhouse pork round out the various menus from €48 to €98. And before the pastry chef's creative desserts, you can indulge in a discovery of Maroilles cheese. A sophisticated wine cellar and a fine selection by the glass.
