Chef's Restaurant Confirmation of a certain revival in this superb manor house just a few dozen meters from the beach. Le Castel has a long and prestigious history, and it deserves a good table, now led by Jérémy Coirier, who has built up a good team around him to produce a cuisine that's right on target: Rouget de roche berries de cimes et cress glacé, saint-jacques d'Erquy vanille et vin jaune oseille sauvage et salsifis à la flamme, pigeon de Mesquer compression de cuisse lierre terrestre et cerfeuil tubéreux in a superb 5-course menu at €104, which ends on a high note with the marrons noisette et combava dessert. Serious cellar, well-maintained, attentive and efficient service.
