Gourmet Restaurant Spotted in the 109 Gault&Millau, the new blood of French cuisine, Maxime Szczepaniak's Mandibule is a new favorite with connoisseurs in Valentin, and a godsend for travelers getting off at the nearby Valence TGV station. They discover this typical village with its charming old quarter, where the chef has settled, keeping the old sign of the "Café de la Mairie". The cuisine is virtuous and seductive, with low prices and a systematic focus on local produce from within a 20 km radius. Five evenings a week and Saturday lunchtime, hidden menus come into play, from €59 for five courses.
