Chef's Restaurant Camille Lacome and Agathe Richou set sail in 2022 from the pocket port of Locmalo, where Patrice and Catherine Gahinet had brilliantly steered this Morbihan landmark for many years. We immediately applauded this handover. And we confirm it! Their cuisine is chiselled, never flat, using well-sourced ingredients. The roasted turbot is accompanied by a convincing artichoke variation (roasted, mousseline, chips) and a few delicious, tangy cockles add a welcome oceanic touch. All that remains is to pour a delicate champagne sabayon. Once again, the sea intrudes where it's least expected. The superb sweetbread (cleverly crusted with a sweetbread crumble!) gets a breath of sea air in the form of a tartar of wakame seaweed, samphire and even a few grains of caviar. Small, melting potatoes bring us back to terra firma. For the finale, rhubarb (confit) and strawberries (mousse) combine simply but pleasantly. The friendly service adds to the pleasure of dining in this elegant, light-filled room. Since the takeover, the cellar has been gradually expanding and renewing itself: Burgundy from domaines Pattes Loup, Vincent Giradin, Jacques Prieur, Cheverny from Domaine des Huards, Saumur-Champigny from Domaine des Closiers, Jurançon from Clos Uroulat, Irouléguy from Domaine Etxondoa...
