The fresh wood, a reminder of the six months' ageing in new oak barrels, opens up a bouquet that nonetheless retains its freshness thanks to notes of white fruit, the sweetness of sugared almonds and the soft perfume of lemon blossom. The wood is still present on the palate through a delicately tannic body that remains straight and taut, with a mineral and saline structure. An opulent, fleshy wine that manages to stay fresh.
