The soft nose begins as freshly picked pear, then in baked tart with golden pastry. Light airy bubbles and mousse are so characteristic of the vintage, as the opening on the palate is also oily as expected. Thick chunks of toasted fresh bread, with essences of lemon and lime juice and dried candied peel and honey, as fresh Chablisien acidity sculpts the finish. An accomplished 2006.
