Arbane, petit meslier, chardonnay, pinot noir, meunier and pinot blanc are used in the champagne blend. Ripe orange, stewed garigette strawberries, the nose is ripe and round, with a hint of confectionery (cotton candy, orange berlingot). Very fleshy, the palate is almost opulent with ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry, strawberry), a chalky texture and a finish that retains tension on orange and citrus. A dessert in its own right, but could also accompany game birds. Lovely persistence on the finish.
