The tangy freshness of lemon curd and tangor marmalade combines with the sweetness of almond cookie and custard in a charmingly seductive bouquet. Spicy aromas of clove and black pepper appear on aeration. More serious, the body reveals itself only slowly, with pastry notes of panettone, a chalky texture, pretty little bitters and controlled acidity. A straightforward, taut, almost Cistercian wine, produced in only 3900 bottles.
