Exceptional Hotel Nestled on the banks of the Charente, just a stone's throw from Cognac, this XIXᵉ mansion welcomes its guests to a delightful country setting - a park of some five hectares shaded by large trees (a magnificent hundred-year-old sequoia) and enriched by a beautiful vegetable garden. We love the decor of the twelve luxurious rooms and suites spread across the estate's two buildings, as well as the delicacies concocted by chef Antony Carballo and served in the hotel's two restaurants. Depending on your mood, you can choose to dine in the Brasserie des Flâneurs, housed in the former distillery, or in the chic gourmet dining room with its Napoleon-style mirrors and wood panelling. Inaugurated just over a year ago and awarded the Relais-Châteaux label, this elegant venue is a member of the Almae collection, which also includes Palazzo Garzoni in Venice and Armancette in the Alps.
