Florent Pietravalle takes up summer residence at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia

Mathilde Bourge | 5/23/25, 12:22 PM

Parisians take note: for one month, Florent Pietravalle will be in residence at the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia. A unique opportunity to discover the chef's cuisine, without leaving the capital.

From June 19 to July 19, 2025, the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia Paris will host a unique culinary experience: the first gastronomic residency in France for chef Florent Pietravalle (4 toques at La Mirande, Avignon). A sensory and Mediterranean immersion in the heart of the Left Bank.

Solar cuisine in the heart of the Jardin de l'Aristide

Florent Pietravalle will unveil six original creations in the confidential setting of the Jardin de l'Aristide, the open-air area of the Parisian palace. Served three evenings a week, from Thursday to Saturday, these exclusive recipes promise a refined gastronomic interlude, conceived as an ode to the Mediterranean art of living.

To enhance this experience, the Bar Aristide will be offering tailor-made cocktails, designed to enter into dialogue with the chef's dishes. It's a way of prolonging the tasting experience and bringing out the alliance of flavors, textures and aromas in an intimate, elegant and resolutely contemporary setting.

An inspired chef, between audacity and precision

Originally from Montpellier, Florent Pietravalle trained with masters such as Jean-Luc Rabanel and Pierre Gagnaire, and now heads up the kitchens at La Mirande in Avignon. His cuisine, marked by Provence and driven by a unique sensibility, celebrates a key ingredient: the Mediterranean. An inspiration that infuses each dish with freedom, light and emotion.

This temporary residency is a rare opportunity to discover Florent Pietravalle's culinary universe without leaving Paris. For food lovers and the curious alike, it's an invitation to travel, for the duration of a dinner, between Paris and the Mediterranean.
