Chef's Restaurant Régis and Annette Douysset's home is a lovely one. As soon as you arrive, you feel far from the capital, even though it's so close, thanks to an atmosphere tinged with the peaceful, reassuring charm of the provinces. Not to say too quiet and wise at times. This is reflected in the menu: zucchini maki, marinated lobster, Vichyssoise soup, salmon pavé, turbot with caramelized endives, beef in a declension of wilted carrots, Grand Marnier soufflé and bloodstorm sorbet... The pigeon with French pea blood is a symbol of this success, which consists in satisfying a bourgeois clientele delighted by this consensual menu. In any case, if there's no great questioning, you can sense a real professionalism here. The hostess's passion for wine and her cellar add a touch of life to this redecorated space, which remains a respectful and serious restaurant. The 2 toques are maintained, like the speed on the freeway with the cruise control.
