Domaine Aléofane
Natacha Chave, sister of Yann Chave, founded her domaine in 2004 with 1.5 hectares of vines in the Saint Joseph appellation. Little by little, she expanded, acquiring old vines in the crozes-hermitage appellation and planting some with massal selection. The estate now covers 6.5 hectares and is fully certified organic. For the record, the name Aléofane is the name of the imaginary island in John Macmillan Brown's book where beverages are considered rare and precious.
