The tasting committee's absolute favorite! The nose is as fruity as it is floral, revealing aromas of burlat cherry, wisteria and wilted peonies. The palate, dominated by black cherry, seduces with its powdery yet round texture, and stretches to an exceptionally long finish. "Undeniably, this is one of Burgundy's grands crus". This champagne is equally at home with marbled Chalosse rib-eye steak with black mushrooms, roast fillet of venison served rare, or, quite simply, a square of dark chocolate with kampot pepper. Superb!
