Attractive, ripe initial aromas of tree-ripened yellow fruit (peach, mirabelle plum), almost toasty notes of bread crust, warm brioche, and the slight bitterness of fresh walnut. A complexity coupled with a certain austerity, however. The palate retains freshness, but also tension. Vegetal notes open the palate, while lime acidity titillates the taste buds and keeps the palate alert through to a persistent finish. A duality of evolved nose and youthful mouthfeel.
