Chef's Restaurant Just a stone's throw from the station, on the first floor of an apartment building, the long, chicly styled, generously glazed façade is an undeniable invitation to push open the door. The bright dining room is furnished in a refined contemporary style, and Marine Lavigne's delightful welcome augurs well for the future. Gwenaël takes his inspiration from the market. His light, tasty cuisine, which follows the rhythm of the seasons, relies mainly on local produce. Pretty little scallops from the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, perfectly roasted in butter, are combined with split peas and pumpkin. The whole is highlighted by a shallot-verbena cream. The beautiful roasted monkfish is appropriately whipped with a savory shellfish bisque. Grilled buckwheat, treated like risotto, is a good idea. A few seasonal vegetables complete the picture: cauliflower, salsify, mushrooms... Special mention should be made of the dessert: a beautiful pear, juicy to perfection, embellished by a light, gourmet cream. All topped with a dense, well-balanced chocolate coulis. A short wine list with a few signatures that will still do the trick: domaine Pellehaut, domaine JP Brun, domaine Aegerter...
